On the night of January 6-7, 2007, Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom were carjacked, raped, tortured and murdered. Six years later, the case is still going through the system.
The four defendants were convicted, but had the verdicts overturned because the trial judge, Richard Baumgartner, was guilty of using drugs obtained from probationers in his own court. The lone female defendant, Vanessa Coleman, was retried in November and was again convicted of facilitation of Channon Christian's rape and murder.
The other three defendants are waiting to see whether they will have new trials. On Sunday, January 6, a memorial service was held for Chris Newsom.
A similar service will be held for Channon Christian on Monday.
On January 10, a motions hearing will be held concerning a new trial for Lemaricus Davidson, the "alleged" ringleader. Davidson was only defendant to receive a death sentence.
A decision on whether the other defendants will be retried will be announced this month.

My condolences to the Christian and Newsom families.
In the 1960s, the Japanese flooded the American market with cheap products. In fact as I recall, if it said “made in Japan”, it meant it was cheap. This is where the Japanese manufacturing was at, back in that day.
If one thinks of gene pools as manufacturing plants one gets a fairly decent perspective or understanding of reality.
The term race actually refers to sub-species, which is a more accurate nomenclature. This because race is usually seen in terms of different colors of skin for the different races of people, and both liberal ideology and blacks seize upon this to create their illusion, that the only difference between races is the color of the skin, but that illusion is not the truth of reality.
The truth of reality here is that each sub-species of humans has its own manufacturing plant, the gene pool, and each gene pool produces a very specific human. The big difference in these manufacturing plants is the particular ratio of r versus k selective strategy employed. This is the real difference between the races, and further, the more r selective the gene pool, the more cheap the product, and the more cheap the product, the more the quantity of cheap product that can then be produced.
Blacks and black culture are the product of a more r selective “manufacturing plant”, the black gene pool. Their more r selective gene pool produces a cheaper product, blacks, whom are designed for no higher than tribal existence and tribal mentality.
This is the nature of the black beast. A nature unfit for the higher created culture of a sub-species of human born of a more k selective gene pool. Blacks are so dysfunctional in a white culture because their cerebrum is not designed for said higher culture, they were manufactured for nothing higher than tribalism.
The cheaper product of the black gene pool, blacks, when living in a higher culture, necessarily forces the cheaper product to adopt a more parasitic way of life.
Between the nature of the black sub-species, and their life in a culture beyond their capability, the blacks have inherited the mantle of a fish out of water. It is a shame they cannot be thrown back. Thank you.
